Goods Lift manufactured and installed at Birmingham site

A key UK automotive supply chain company recently contacted Armo for a quote to supply and install a goods lift and floor mounted ramp. In December 2015 Armo were pleased to supply Paintbox Ltd with a quote for the required manual handling equipment. Working to provide the best service possible, Armo provided the quotes as soon as possible.

Those at Paintbox proved to be pleased with Armo’s quotes and placed their order to receive the heavy duty Armo ARGL Goods Lift and bespoke floor mounted ramp at the earliest and most convenient time. The Goods Lift ordered was 2000 w x 2500 l x 320 d and the lift stroke was 1000mm complete with a top limit switch to adjust to the existing dock height. The Lift has a raising time of 16 seconds to full 1000mm stroke and a lowering time of < 15mm second. The bespoke floor mounted low gradient ramp was needed to provide safe roll on / roll off access to the floor mounted lifting table platform.

Safety with lifting tables is paramount and Armo lifts are fully compliant with BS EN 1570 incorporating all the safety features you would expect:

•  Peripheral safe edge with reset feature
• Chainmesh guards under exposed sides
• Designed hand rails, barriers and interlocked gates
• Rupture valves in the unlikely event of hose burst
• Easily accessible maintenance prop
• Remote /on-board emergency stop
• Low voltage dead-man controls
