Working with one of the UK’s Leading Joinery & Fit-Out Contractors working in Retail, Leisure and Commercial Sectors.  Armo are pleased to be part of one of their latest projects in Barnsley, where we have manufactured and installed a modular dock with a modular dock with integrated swing lip dock levellers, insulated high-speed doors and insulated section overhead door.

The Armo model ARMD Modular Dock, which are all steel-constructed units, with a durbar chequer plate steel surface supported by hot rolled steel sections designed to accommodate the 10,000 kg load capacity. 1100 mm high open handrailings on exposed side, completed with central knee bar and bottom kick plate and pedestrian access staircases, complete with handrail bad landing area.

An intergraded Armo Swing Lip Dock Leveller model ARSL, the swing lip dock Leveller gives the client a robust design and construction. The platforms are made from 6/8 mm tear plate steel, supported by a minimum of 8 longitudinal beams to strengthen the deck but still allowing it to twist through its length to cater for vehicles that are out of level with the Loading Bay.

ARMO High Speed Door Insulated Model ARHS, the door’s construction was manufactured with an interlocking insulated lath with CFC free polyurethane core, made from anodized aluminium with clear coating.

Rise speeds of 0.5 m/s get the door clear of fast-moving fork lift trucks, but the activation of the door is the most important factor, and Armo have an extensive range of activators designed to make your high-speed door installation work exactly the way you want it.  ON this occasion, it was equipped with an electric slip -on drive and a control box, complete with IP 65 Protection.

AROD Insulated Sectional Overhead Door tracks are our galvanised steel ‘J’ type, which are designed to give free and easy running for bearing rollers. These tracks are mounted onto a heavy-duty galvanised jamb angle. The perimeter of the doors is fully sealed, as well as the intermediate panel joints, providing the most effective weather seal to the door.  The door panels construction is manufactured using 0.5 mm thick hot dipped coated steel on either face, these sheets are bonded together using CFC free foam with a destiny of 40 kg/m2  K.
