Dock Leveller supplied and installed at logistics company in West Bromwich

A quote was requested after Rebecca in our telesales team got in touch with Sheldon Clayton Logistics in West Bromwich, who provide logistics and warehousing services. After lengthy chats, they requested a budget quote while they waited for more definite news on if they could progress with the changes needed. When they were ready, we were able to go to site, consult with them on their needs and produce a quote.

We discussed options and agreed the best route forward for them would be a swing lip dock leveller in a made to order support frame. We were able to turn this project around in 20 days.”

The Armo swing lip dock leveller model ARSL is in full compliance with BS EN 1398. It is robust in design and construction; the platforms are made from 6/8 mm tear plate steel, supported by a minimum of 8 longitudinal beams to strengthen the deck but still allowing it to twist through its length to cater for vehicles that are out of level with the Loading Bay. The Armo Swing Lip Dock leveller is designed in 3 installation styles, but for this project we made to order a support frame suitable for the dock leveller and pit.

The order also included for dock buffers at a size of 450 x 250 x 150. Our range of dock buffers are industry standard and manufactured from heavy duty solid rubber. The buffer sits within our range of loading bay accessories.
