Armo manufacture new Goods Lift for butchers in Rotherham

A shop fitting expert company based in the UK contacted us to quote for the supply and install of a goods lifting table for a new butchers shop they were designing and needed to get the goods delivered from the delivery yard level up to the meat processing plant, which was one floor above the main shop

We were able to quote for an externally mounted Goods Lift Lifting Table, model ARGL. A lift perfectly designed for the needs of H C Wrays Butchers in Rotherham to move goods from one level to another.

The Armo Goods Lift Lifting Table, model ARGL can reach heights of up to 4500mm, but each we make is made-to-order to suit the specific requirements of the project. This particular lift for H C Wrays Butcher’s was made to the width of 1400mm x 2700mm x 600mm with a lift stroke of 3000mm and load capacity to suit up to 1000kg.

The Armo Good Lifting Table model ARGL is simply constructed and simple to install. A safety perimeter comes as standard as well as a control panel. The upper level has red and green indicator lights, with the light showing green when lift reaches upper level and shows red at all other times. The lower level is complete with platform rise and lower emergency stop and key over-ride switch.

Safety with lifting tables is paramount and Armo lifting tables are fully compliant with BS EN 1570 incorporating all the safety features you would expect and this project was no exception:

• Peripheral safe edge with reset feature
• Lift bellows on all 4 sides shrouding the lift base frame
• Rupture valves in the unlikely event of hose burst
• Easily accessible maintenance prop
• Remote emergency stop
• Low voltage dead-man controls

This project took seven weeks between order and sign off.
