Iris Construction approached Armo for our input in to a project they had been working on in Hounslow, Middlesex. Their client required a between levels Model ARGL Goods Lift and Armo were more than happy to meet iris Constructions requirements. For Over 20 years, Iris Construction have delivered quality construction projects nationwide with them particularly specialising in the commercial, education and residential sectors. Our Project Manager attended the site in Middlesex to conduct a site survey that lead to Armo issuing a quote to Iris construction. The order was placed on the 11^th May and installation started the first week of June.

 Model ARGL Goods Lift  The Model ARGL Goods Lift was manufactured at a width of 1800mm, a length of 1970mm and a nominal depth of 1050mm with a lift stroke of 1000mm including a limit switch for height adjustment. The load capacity was 2000kg for a partially distributed load. The on-board hand railing was manufactured 1100mm and positioned both long sides of the lift. The gates providing access to lower level were also manufactured 1100mm high with interlocked drop down bolts and an electro mechanical lock. A goal post frame (1800mm wide x 2000mm high) was used to serve the upper level, providing fall off protection from the upper level when the lift is lowered.  Safety with lifting tables is paramount and Armo lifts are fully compliant with BS EN 1570 incorporating all the safety features you would expect:

• Peripheral safe edge with reset feature
• Designed hand rails, barriers and interlocked gates
• Rupture valves in the unlikely event of hose burst
• Easily accessible maintenance prop
• Remote /on-board emergency stop
• Low voltage dead-man controls
