Armo Replace Sectional Overhead Door for customer in Lancing

Armo had originally installed 3 sectional doors for Accel Consulting in November 2016, working with them on a project for a new building in Lancing, West Sussex. Due to reorganisation, the customer wanted one of the doors extending to floor level as the original doors resting position was at dock height where they were originally planning to install a dock leveller for where the current door was.

Armo supplied and installed a new AROD Insulated Sectional Overhead Door with an increased opening height of 1200mm. The opening width of the door was 2800mm, opening height 4200mm and the headroom was 1585mm. The door tracks are galvanised steel ‘J’ type with a high lift track design, designed to give free and easy running for bearing rollers, these tracks are mounted onto a heavy-duty galvanised jamb angle. Door Panels are manufactured using 0.5mm thick hot dipped zinc coated steel on either face, and bonded together using CFC free foam. The door panel finish is dependent on the customer’s preference; in this case Accel chose to have their panels ‘Anthracite Grey’. The perimeters of the doors are fully sealed, as well as the intermediate panel joints, providing most effective weather seal to the doors.
