New Vehicle Loading Lifts for client in Northampton based client

A long-standing client, TSL Projects, approached us in October 2015, with a requirement for a customer in Northampton. Armo were approached to design, manufacture and install three new loading bays for leading international manufacturer of convenience foods, Greencore.  We carried out a site visit and quoted and the order was placed.

We supplied and installed three Model ARVL Vehicle Loading Lifts, each being a size of 2200mm wide, 4000mm long with a nominal depth of 500mm and lift stroke of 1700mm.  This particular project called for the capacity to be a 3000kg limit with an electro/hydraulic lip.

The Armo lifting table is simple and robust in design and construction, from the rolled steel angle base frame through to the solid steel plate arms, right through to the structured platform, the lift is constructed to last.

We also supplied and installed three Model AROD Insulated Sectional Overhead Doors with an opening width of 2000mm, opening height of 3100mm and headroom of 450mm.  The door tracks are our galvanised steel ‘J’ type, deisgned to give free and easy running for bearing rollers, these tracks are mounted onto a heavy duty galvanised jamb angle.

We also supplied and installed three Model ARSR Retractable Dock Shelters for each bay.  Manufactured in a overall width of 3500mm, overall height of 4700mm with projection of 900mm.  The width of the front curtain was 600mm and the length of the head curtain was 1600mm.  These dock shelters, made of heavy duty reinforced nylon PVC are suitable for accommodating vehicles of varying heights, whilst at the same time providing an effective seal.

Finally, we supplied Model ARTR LED Traffic Lights for each bay. These are interlocked to the loading bay door, so that the light shows green when the door is closed and red whenever the door is open.
