Retractable and Inflatable Dock Shelters supplied and installed at site in Telford

One of the world’s largest manufacturer of computer printers, and information and imaging related equipment based in Shropshire, contacted us for a quote on a loading bay equipment upgrade project. As a current service and repair customer, we were pleased they contacted us to start an installation project.

After a site visit, we quoted on the same day. The quote was agreeable and a site visit to a current client with the same equipment installed was requested and we were happy to oblige with a site in Market Drayton. An order arrived shortly afterwards for six Armo ARSR Retractable Dock Shelters but with each needing to be manufactured to different requirements, seven pairs of ARDB Loading Dock Buffers and one ARIS inflatable dock shelter. 

The Inflatable Dock Shelter is growing in popularity as more comprehensive control of vehicles and equipment becomes available. Although inflatable seals are made to standard dimensions Armo also provides a service to make special sizes to fit to existing buildings and special applications. For this project the overall width was 3600mm x 3900mm.

For the retractable dock shelters, each was bespoke manufactured. Each was made to measure with an overall width of 3350mm, overall height of between 3900mm and 4050mm. The Model ARSR is a heavy-duty shelter suitable for accommodating vehicles of varying heights whilst at the same time providing an effective seal. The side roof and cladding is made from nylon reinforced PVC and the front and head curtains are made from twin nylon filament reinforced PVC.
