Mainetti, a global manufacturer of garment hangers and associated products, have taken over a production facility in Wrexham, Wales. They contacted Armo after realising they needed dedicated loading bays for their new upgraded warehouse facility.

In August Armo were invited to site and to quote for a Loading Bay project. The completed quote consisted of six Swing Lip Dock Levellers with related Loading Dock Buffers, Wheel Alignment Guides, Roller Shutter Doors, LED traffic Lights, Dock Loading Light and a safety gate system.

The Armo Swing Lip Dock Levellers are robust in design and construction; the platforms are made from 6/8 mm tear plate steel, supported by a minimum of 8 longitudinal beams to strengthen the deck but still allowing it to twist through its length to cater for vehicles that are out of level with the loading bay. Castell’s Salvo Safety locking system prevents vehicle’s driving away whilst ensuring loading bay safety by linking the articulated trailer vehicle to the loading bay door during the loading or unloading of goods. The secret of the Salvo Safety System is that only one Salvo key exists per bay, thus ensuring that the door can only be opened ONCE the trailer has been secured in place. After a relatively short decision process the order was placed in November. Armo attended site in January and installation took just 10 days.
