A construction partner gave Armo (UK) the opportunity to tender for a full Dock Loading Bay package contract at Riva Foods in Hull. Riva Foods are frozen and chilled garlic or flavoured food specialists with their products being supplied to the foodservice, manufacturing and retail sectors in various sizes and case quantities.

Riva Foods invested in an extension facility that required a new loading bay to get product both in and out.

The quote was supplied in March and consisted of the Armo Insulated Sectional Overhead Door, Armo Swing Lip Dock Leveller and Inflatable Dock Shelter. After careful consideration the order was placed in September and also included for Dock Buffers and Wheel Guides.

Loading Bay accessories such as Dock Buffers and Wheel Guides are available to buy at the point of installation or further down the line for replacement purposes if they have suffered through repeated use. Having both these measures in place can save unwanted damage being caused to the Dock Leveller itself and help prevent, for example, vehicles reversing into the leveler.

Installation by Armo engineers took just 3 days with minimal disruption to the clients warehouse operations.
