With over 40 years experience, Müller is now recognised as the fastest growing, international, chilled-food business with operations in more than 10 countries. Model ARSL Swing Lip Dock Leveller

Armo Supplied and installed 2no Model ARSL Swing Lip Dock Levellers at a width of 2000mm, length of 3000mm and a minimum pit depth of 610mm. The operating parameters were 300mm above dock and 300mm below dock. The lip of the leveller is one piece complete with a 5° curvature to assist with loading above dock height with a length of 400mm. The Dock Leveller had strict single axle load capacity of 6 tonne which is in accordance with the British standard for dock levellers BS EN 1398.

Armo completed the installation of the Dock Leveller by including 2no rubber buffers at a size of 450mm x 250mm x 100mm. Each buffer is mounted on a 15mm steel backing plate that is welded and bolted to the dock face.

Model ARIS Inflatable Dock Shelter

An ARIS Inflatable Dock Shelter was supplied and installed with an overall width of 3400mm, overall height of 3600mm and a projection of 1200mm, housed within 50mm thick food safe fire resistant composite panels. The width of the side seal was 700mm and the length of the head seal was 1500mm. Armo’s heavy-duty inflatable dock shelters are suitable for accommodating vehicles of varying heights, whilst at the same time providing a good, tight seal.

Model AROD Insulated Sectional Overhead Door

2no Model AROD Insulated sectional Overhead Doors were supplied and installed with an opening width of 2800mm and an opening height of 3100mm and a headroom of 500mm. The door tracks are galvanised steel ‘J’ type fixed vertically, designed to give free and easy running for bearing rollers, these tracks are mounted onto a heavy-duty galvanised jamb angle. Door Panels are manufactured using 0.5mm thick hot dipped zinc coated steel on either face, and bonded together using CFC free foam. The door panel finish is dependent on the customer’s preference; in the case Müller chose to have the panels finish in silver externally. The perimeters of the doors are fully sealed, as well as the intermediate panel joints, providing most effective weather seal to the doors.

Model ARLH insulated Load House

Armo Manufactured and Installed a Model ARLH Insulated Load House, which is a fully constructed loading bay, added on to the building façade, suitable for existing buildings or as new build. The model ARLH is provided as a complete installed package with all rainwater goods and flashings to seal to the building. We manufactured to the clients requirements, and supplied the load house at 1000mm width x 10300mm length x 3900mm height.

Model ARDL Dock Loading Light

1no Dock Loading light was supplied and installed on the inside of the loading bay door which provides light into every corner of a docked trailer which improves visibility and helps prevent accidents occurring. The light is a 70W system, which can be interlocked with the door so that when the door opens, the light will turn on and when the door closes, the light switches off. An independent switch can also be included.

Model ARDB Wheel Alignment Guides

2 pairs of wheel alignment guides were fixed into place centrally to the loading bay, 2000mm from the dock face. The guides are manufactured with soft radius bends and are hot dipped galvanised to BS 729. They can also be powder coated to the colour preference of the customer. The reversing vehicle, which is intended to dock onto the loading bay, aims to slot the trailer between the guides ensuring the trailer dock safely and centrally onto the loading bay.

Salvo (Trapped Key) Loading Bay Safety System

Finally, Armo installed 1no Salvo (trapped key) Loading Bay Safety System. The Castel Salvo Safety System prevents the accidental drive-away of a vehicle during loading or unloading of goods at a loading bay. The Castell Salvo Safety system links the articulated trailer to the loading bay door during the loading or unloading of goods.
