Skelmersdale Project Complete

An existing large ground-level access door has been successfully transformed into a fully functional modular dock loading bay solution for our client in Skelmersdale.

The client required a safe and efficient way to unload sea containers, and turned to Armo to deliver a tailored solution designed around their operational needs.

Following a site assessment, we proposed and installed the following equipment:

• Model ARMD – 6000mm (W) x 6000mm (L) modular dock complete with safety guarding, pedestrian access staircase, and safety pallet gate.

• Model ARTR – 2000mm (W) x 3000mm (L) telescopic lip dock leveller, complete with Model ARDB polyethylene buffers, integrated within the modular dock structure 

• Model ARSR – 3500mm (W) x 3800mm (H) dock shelter with infill flashings to reduce the existing door opening width and ensure a secure seal during loading operations.

• Model ARTR LED traffic light system, interlocked with the existing door to enhance loading bay safety.

• Model ARBD wheel alignment guides to accurately centralise reversing trailers onto the dock leveller.

The completed installation has provided the client with a safe, efficient, and purpose-built loading solution, and we’re delighted that they are extremely pleased with the final result.
