Multiple Dock Levellers & Loading Bay Accessories installed at Derbyshire Site

A successful design and build company, based in Derbyshire recently contacted Armo for a quote on a full loading bay package consisting of Dock Levellers to Traffic Lights. Armo was of course, more than happy to help and set about providing them with fair quotes for their potential order. The first point of contact happened mid-June.

After various site meetings an order for 12 Dock Levellers, Dock Buffers, Dock Shelters, Traffic Lights and Dock Lights was placed.

Twelve Armo ARSL Swing Lip Dock Levellers all measuring 2000 w x 3000 l x 610mm pit depth were manufactured supplied and installed into pre-cast concrete pits. The length of each lip was 400mm and had a 5 ° curvature for loading above dock.

The heavy duty Armo dock buffers provided were 250 w x 450 l x 100mm deep and were mounted onto steel backing plates. The Armo ARSR Retractable Dock Shelters with additional roller blinds had an impressive size of 3500 w x 4400mm h with a projection of 600m, 650mm width of front curtain and 1200mm length of head curtain, which could be extended further using the electrically operated blind. The heavy duty retractable dock shelter is suitable for accommodating vehicles of a various heights whilst also providing an effective seal.

Armo Dock Loading Lights are dust and waterproof to provide a more durable and reliable product. The whole system is easily and economically mounted just inside of the loading bay door; which provides light into every corner of a docked trailer. The last thing which came in the order was the dock Traffic Lights which had a nominal w x l of 140mm x 268mm and a depth of 50mm. The red over green LED Traffic Light provided in fully sealed black moulded unit complete with small sun visors.
