Armo (UK) installed High Speed Door and Strong High Speed Door in Bangor, Wales

We are pleased to be working with such an innovative food development and production company with experience spanning almost 100 years. They have in-house development chefs and specialist technical teams to embrace food trends to create award-winning dishes in partnership with national brands. They have a 10 acre, on-site food production facility, which means that they can produce most types of food categories for their clients.

Following a site survey, we have upgraded industrial Doors to an Armo fast action door, with a close speed of 0.5 m/s and upgraded the steel guides to a food grade stainless steel finish and a second door is an Armo strong high Speed door with thick PVC with a polyester reinforcement. The high speed door not only speeds up the operation, but also helps the environment by keeping in expensively generated air, perfect for manufacturers in the food industry.

ARMO High Speed Door Model ARHS

Designed to be cost-effective and activated automatically, the Armo High Speed Door is perfectly designed to save energy, perfect for any temperature-controlled environment.

The door's construction manufactured with a galvanized steel frame as standard and the frame is self-supporting, requiring a simple steel to fix it to the building. The curtain provided with the door is a colour impregnated polyester flexible curtain. The curtain was provided with 2 rectangular windows. The opening and closing speed of these doors is an impressive time of up to 1.2 m/s. There is a wireless safety edge system and photocell mounted within line of the door itself. This also includes internally, and externally activated pull cords mounted on long gallow brackets.

ARSR Retractable Dock Shelter  caters for a mixed vehicle fleet with curtains that extend in from the sides and head, allowing a vehicle to push through and keep the worst of the elements at bay. The curtains are designed to flex but maintain contact with the rear of the vehicle to maintain the “seal”.

Armo Retractable Dock Shelters are made from good quality materials – in fact, the front curtain material started life as abrasion resistant conveyor belting!

The retractable frame is made from galvanized steel to make sure it lasts the course when exposed to the elements and just in case the shelter gets accidentally hit, the arms are designed to retract out of harm’s way by moving back and up.
