Armo Modular Dock Levellers installed in York

Our Client is one the largest UK suppliers and packers of potatoes. They contacted Armo when they realised their current loading bay was no longer useful for their operations and needed two new Loading Bays for their warehouse.

Darrell Hopwood, Armo’s Managing Director, attended site and met with the Cockerill team. They discussed in details what they needed from the Dock Leveller in terms of load capacity, size, and best access arrangements within the required location.

Darrell was able to advise that two Modular Dock Leveller Loading Bays with raised Modular Docks Levellers would be suitable and sent a quote including Modular Steel Docks, Swing Lip Dock Levellers, Retractable Dock Shelters, Roller Shutter Doors, LED Traffic Lights, Loading Lights and Wheel Alignment Guides.

The decision from the client took several months before they decided to make the investment. The initial quote was requested in July and the order was placed in October. Installation took place in December over 12 days.
