Armo (UK) are proud once again to be selected to supply the World’s Largest Furniture Retailer with overhead sectional doors and dock levellers.  On this occasion we have supplied an additional 24 AROD sectional overhead doors and 8 Armo swing Lip dock levellers.

Armo have been manufacturing high quality loading bay equipment and lifting table solutions since 1972 and have the experience to provide the best solution for the project at the right price for your loading requirements.

AROD Sectional Overhead Doors

The AROD sectional overhead door tracks are our galvanised steel ‘J’ type, which are designed to give free and easy running for bearing rollers. These tracks are mounted onto a heavy-duty galvanised jamb angle.  The perimeter of the doors is fully sealed, as well as the intermediate panel joints, providing the most effective weather seal to the doors.

The choice of design and materials are endless, which means the door can always be perfectly configured to meet your wishes. On this occasion each door was provided with two built in windows.  We can provide numerous types of built-in windows as well as different heights and widths to make up the ISO 40 mm range, as well as a variety of 12 as standard.

All Armo products are supplied to the latest European standards as you would expect – the sectional door is no exception, built to BS EN13241 and installed and maintained by our own employed engineers you can rest assured that you have invested in a quality product.

Armo Swing Lip Dock Leveller Model ARSL

Armo dock levellers are robust in design and construction; the platforms are made from 6/8 mm tear plate steel, supported by a minimum of 8 longitudinal beams to strengthen the deck but still allowing it to twist through its length to cater for vehicles that are out of level. The ARSL is in full compliance with BS EN 1398.

Operation

The push button is held depressed, whereupon the platform will rise to the top of its range and the lip will swing out under control (the operator can constantly monitor the position of the platform and lip while keeping the button depressed). With the lip extended the button is released and the platform and lip will lower until the vehicle body is sensed, upon which the platform will follow fluctuation in height during loading/unloading. To park the dock leveller the button is held depressed, causing the leveller to rise and retract the lip. At this point releasing the button will allow the leveller to “park” and the leveller will return to its parked position.

The ARSL is in full compliance with BS EN 1398.
