The Armo tilting machine provides the benefit of tilting or moving a product through 90° in absolute controlled safety, traditionally designed for large heavy steel coils but this product can also be used in a number of scenarios whereby something really heavy needs to be rotated.
This tilting machine is a very heavy duty product designed for rigorous industrial use with a product range that can accommodate loads ranging from 1500KG through to 14000KG in weight. Manoeuvring is undertaken in total safety, thanks to the safety edge perimeter frame on both sides and hydraulic power-pack that ensures the load moves at a steady controlled pace, both forwards and backwards.
Traditionally the receiving platform is ‘V’ shaped to accept the cylinder shaped coil, this design holds the coil steady and prevents any side movement, once safely positioned the operating button is pressed and the product rotates steadily through to 90°, this industrial product is designed for up to 40 cycles a day.
- Designed to tilt through a maximum of 90°

- Either 1 or 2 hydraulic cylinders (depending on load capacity) to actuate the platform movement
- Inboard power-pack with oil plunged 415V motor
- Control system with 3 button dead-man operation, with forward, reverse and emergency stop function
- Provided with 4 metres of cable to the control panel with an auxiliary feed of 24V
- Safety perimeter frame on the underside of both platforms
- Double acting ‘over centre’ valve block
