Our client is a global cross-border e-commerce solution provider. With over 20,000 merchants relying on them to succeed in the Ecommerce world. They have 50 different global locations, and, on this occasion, we have been asked to work with their UK operation.
We have created a new loading dock by using a Armo Modular Dock Leveller, this is perfect if space is an issue. Modular Dock Leveller’s consist of a bespoke solution of a ramp, platform and dock leveller avoiding expensive civil works.
The unit is manufactured complete with robust support legs complete with base plates and bolted down on a concrete base. To prevent any fall off hazard from the modular dock, 1100mm high hand railing complete with central knee bar and bottom kick plate are fitted to all exposed sides. Then a Swing Lip Dock Leveller was installed, with an extended reach over tail lifts and gives them precise control.

Armo dock levellers are robust in design and construction; the platforms are made from 6/8 mm tear plate steel, supported by a minimum of 8 longitudinal beams to strengthen the deck but still allowing it to twist through its length to cater for vehicles that are out of level. The ARSL is in full compliance with BS EN 1398.
The wheel guides are manufactured with soft radius bends and are supplied for installing centrally to the loading bay, circa 2000mm from the dock face. The reversing vehicle slots between the guides ensuring that the vehicle docks safely and centrally onto the loading bay.
