New Dock Shelters for customer in Cambridgeshire

In October of this year, March Foods in Cambridgeshire, a brand new customer to Armo, came to us as they had a requirement for four new Dock Shelters.  March Foods are a quality provider of contract manufacturing services with extensive knowledge and a wide range of packing formats for the industry.

Following on from the enquiry, we visited the site for a survey and subsequently quoted for four ARSR Retractable Dock Shelters and the order was then placed by the customer and processed.

The shelters were supplied in an overall width of 3500mm, overall height of 4000mm with projection of 600mm. The width of the front curtain was 650mm and the length was 1400mm.

Our heavy-duty retractable dock shelters are suitable for accommodating vehicles of varying heights and sizes whilst at the same time, providing an effective and accurate seal. The curtain of the Shelter incorporates two yellow guides on each side, which works as an aid for a reversing vehicle and helps achieves a more accurate fit.

Darrell Hopwood, Managing Director, said of this project “We established during our site survey that our client was accepting high cubed trailers that were too tall for the existing shelter arrangement, so we increased the height along with a cut out detail to accommodate the protruding cladding at high level. With this new design the new shelters are designed to accommodate vehicles up to 4800mm in height”
