Armo Swing Lip Dock Leveller Model ARSL
Armo dock levellers are robust in design and construction; the platforms are made from 6/8 mm tear plate steel, supported by a minimum of 8 longitudinal beams to strengthen the deck but still allowing it to twist through its length to cater for vehicles that are out of level. The ARSL is in full compliance with BS EN 1398.
Heavy duty retractable dock shelters are suitable for accommodating vehicles of varying heights whilst at the same time providing an effective seal. The curtains are designed to flex but maintain contact with the rear of the vehicle to maintain the seal.
Armo Inflatable Dock Shelters model ARIS
The frame size is similar to that of a Retractable Dock Shelters, but the narrow side curtains conceal deflated polyurethane inflatable cushions; the head is similar. The use of inflatable seals works very simply; the vehicle arrives at the dock usually with an external traffic light showing green, when the warehouse operative is alerted to the presence of the vehicle.
Once the fan is energised the cushions fill with high volume, low-pressure air and maintain steady contact on the sides and roof of the vehicle providing a good tight seal. This reduces the ingress of the elements and keeping in expensively generated warm or cooled air.
In addition, the sides and roof cladding were housed in a 50mm thick food safe white fire-resistant flat composite panels.
Loading Dock Buffers model ARDB
Loading Dock Buffers are made from heavy duty solid rubber, fixed to a prime and painted solid steel backing plate using M24 fixings and the plate in turn is welded in position to provide a long-lasting solid fixing.
ARTR LED Traffic Lights are for the loading bay. The traffic lights were red over green LED lights, provided in fully sealed black moulded units, complete with small sun visors. These are interlocked to the loading bay, so the light shows green when the door is closed and red whenever the door is open.
They are installed on the inside of the loading bay door which provides light into every corner of a docked trailer which improves visibility and helps prevent accidents occurring. The light is a 70W system, which was interlocked with the door so that when the door opens, the light will turn on and when the door closes, the light switches off.
The Cast-In Wheel Alignment Guide model ARCI is a cast in version in lieu of bolt down, the tubular legs are supplied to cast-in 500mm below ground.
The wheel guides are manufactured with soft radius bends and are supplied for installing centrally to the loading bay, circa 2000mm from the dock face. The reversing vehicle slots between the guides ensuring that the vehicle docks safely and centrally onto the loading bay.
AROD Insulated Sectional Overhead Doors
The Insulated Sectional Overhead Door tracks are our galvanised steel ‘J’ type, which are designed to give free and easy running for bearing rollers. These tracks are mounted onto a heavy-duty galvanised jamb angle. The perimeter of the doors is fully sealed, as well as the intermediate panel joints, providing most effective weather seal to the door. The door panels construction is manufactured using 0.5mm thick hot dipped coated steel on either face, these sheets are bonded together using CFC free foam with a destiny of 40kg/m2 K.
This is steel security emergency door. This includes external locking devise and internal panic furniture. They are robust in design and frame infilled in resin impregnated honeycomb and power coated.
