We have upgraded two loading bays to ensure the product is loading in the most efficient manner and kept at the correct temperature. Whiles also saving money on losing expensively generated cooled air. We have manufactured and installed Retractable Dock Shelters and High-Speed Doors. In addition, we have also installed Cushion seals that will help take a variety of different size of vehicles.

Model ARCS Cushion Seals are also known as dock pads. Cushion seals are made using high density closed cell foam encased in heavy duty PVC and wear plates are added in addition to the front material to increase the durability of the seal.

When the vehicle reverses on to the cushion seal it compresses the foam as far as the dock buffers allow thus creating a seal between the vehicle and the building. They were installed at the height of 197 from yard level, making it suitable for vehicle heights ranging from 3600mm to 4000mm.

ARMO High Speed Door Model ARHS are construction manufactured with a galvanized steel frame as standard and the frame is self-supporting requiring a simple steel to fix it to the building. The curtain provided with the door is a colour impregnated polyester flexible curtain. The curtain was provided with 2 rectangular windows. The opening and closing speed of these doors is an impressive time of up to 1.2 m/s. There is a wireless safety edge system and photocell mounted within line of the door itself. This also includes internally, and externally activated pull cords mounted on long gallow brackets.

ARMO Model ARSR Retractable Dock Shelters are manufactured with a fixed frame. This is the perfect way of protecting goods and employees from the elements and to keep a temperature-controlled facility at the correct temperature while the doors are open during the necessary loading and unloading operations.

They cater for a mixed vehicle fleet with curtains that extend in from the sides and head allowing a vehicle to push through and keep the worst of the elements at bay. The curtains are designed to flex but maintain contact with the rear of the vehicle to maintain the “seal opening and protection of the goods are the main criteria.

Finally, there is the bonus of reducing energy costs by reducing the loss of expensively generated warm or cooled air.
