Armo are pleased to be working again with such a valued customer and one of our leading supermarkets. This time Armo has upgraded 21 Loading Bays at one of their major distribution centres. We have installed Armo Telescopic Lip Dock Levellers, Armo Insulated Sectional Doors and Heavy-Duty Dock Buffers.

Due to the nature of the distribution warehouse, it is running 24 hours a day. With ARMO (UK) skilled engineers, this was achieved with no interruption to the busy distribution centre schedule.

Armo ARTL Telescopic Lip Dock Leveller

They are available in 3 types, on this project we used the suspended version. As the names suggests the dock leveller is suspended from its top edge allowing the underside of the pit to be clear for access by tail lifts. This gives clear access when docking the vehicles.

This model ARTL is in full Compliance with BS EN 1398.

AROD Insulated Sectional Overhead Door

The AROD Insulated Sectional Overhead Door tracks are our galvanised steel ‘J’ type, which are designed to give free and easy running for bearing rollers. These tracks are mounted onto a heavy-duty galvanised jamb angle. The perimeter of the doors is fully sealed, as well as the intermediate panel joints, providing most effective weather seal to the door.

Heavy Duty Dock Buffers

These are energy absorbing Polyethylene low friction dock bumpers provided yellow. They are fixed through 50mm rubber packer using M24 bolts onto a primed and pained 15mm thick steel backing plate that is both welded and bolted to the dock face. The front surface of the buffer is smooth, and the polyethylene buffer is backed with a rubber shock absorbing fillet.
