Our brief was to manufacture and install 3 Loading Bays and our specialist engineers installed the following:

3 no. ARSL Armo Swing Lip Dock Levellers, The Swing Lip Dock Leveller enables the client to have extended reach over tail lifts and gives them precise control. Dock Levellers provide a 6 tonne single axle load capacity strictly in accordance with the British standard for dock levellers BS EN 1398.

3 no. Pouring Trays they are manufactured with a suspended frame design with a reversed angle to allow the dock leveller to sit comfortably within the opening of the pouring tray. The trays are fixed down to a solid base and a dry concrete mix is packed around the tray ready for the final concrete pour to complete the pit.

3 no. Dock Buffers and Backing Plates, Armo buffers are manufactured from heavy duty solid rubber, fixed to a primed and painted solid steel backing plate using M24 fixings, the plate in turn is bolted back to the dock face and additionally welded to the dock leveller frame to provide a long lasting solid fixing.

3 no. AROD Insulated Sectional Overhead Doors, the Insulated Sectional Overhead Door tracks are our galvanised steel ‘J’ type, which are designed to give free and easy running for bearing rollers. These tracks are mounted onto a heavy-duty galvanised jamb angle. The perimeter of the doors is fully sealed, as well as the intermediate panel joints, providing most effective weather seal to the door.

3 no. ARCS Cushion , heavy duty cushion seals dock shelters are suitable for accommodating vehicles of similar heights, whilst at the same time providing the optimum seal.

3 no. ARDL Dock Loading Light was supplied and installed on the inside of the loading bay door which provides light into every corner of a docked trailer which improves visibility and helps prevent accidents occurring. The light is a 70W system, which was interlocked with the door so that when the door opens, the light will turn on and when the door closes, the light switches off.

3 no. Traffic Lights which are interlocked to the door, so that the light shows green when the door is closed and red when open.

3 no. Wheel Guides. These guides are manufactured with soft radius bends and are supplied for installing centrally to the loading bay. The reversing vehicle slots between the guides, ensuring the vehicle docks safely and centrally onto the loading bay.
