High Speed Door supplied to client in Attleborough

We were approached by an existing Armo customer, Banham Poultry, who were looking for a replacement High Speed Door. Banham Poultry are a leading family run business supplying the finest quality chicken products.

We put together a quote for them, to include removal of the existing sectional door, they then placed the order and production took place.

We supplied and installed an ARHS Armo High Speed Door in an opening width of 2500mm, opening height of 3000mm, with headroom of 550mm.  The opening and closing speed of these doors is an impressive time of up to 1.2 m/s. There is a wireless safety edge system and photocell mounted within line of the door itself.

The Managing Director of Armo, Darrell Hopwood had this to say: “The existing door was a standard sectional door with push button control and due to increased forklift traffic through this door opening the client needed something faster and automated to cope with the increased workload. Our high speed door was installed onto a sub-frame and positioned behind the existing sectional door, so the existing door provided out of hours security whilst the high speed door could be used during the day”
