Modular Dock and Accessories for Runcorn customer 

In August of 2015, Armo started working alongside Phoenix Healthcare. At the beginning of 2016 they returned to Armo for a competitive quote on a Modular Dock including dock levellers, retractable dock shelters and various loading bay accessories. The Phoenix Group is one of the top five pharmaceutical wholesalers in the world, providing wholesale to most of the major European markets within the healthcare sector – including pharmacies, GPs and hospitals.

Two of our ARSL Swing Lip Dock Leveller were installed in the size 2000mm wide, 2500mm long and 610mm deep. This was to include operating parameters of both 300mm above and below dock and the lip length was 400mm with our standard 5 ° curvature for loading above dock. Buffers were provided alongside the Levellers, mounted on steel backing plates.

The modular dock itself stands 1200mm high and was supplied 18000mm wide x 6000mm long complete with safety hand railing, pallet pick off safety gates and pedestrian access staircase.

Alongside the Dock Leveller, various loading accessories were also ordered. In standard sizes, such as Dock Lights, Traffic Lights, Wheel Guides, Two ARSR Retractable Dock Shelter, supplied in a size of 3720mm width, 4000mm height with projection of 600mm. The width of the front curtain was 750mm and the head curtain length was 1500mm.
