New Loading Lift and Shelter for new customer at Tamworth site

We were approached in February this year by a new customer for Armo, AllBeauty.com, who had taken on a new unit on in Tamworth and were looking for new loading system from us. AllBeauty.com launched in 2004 and it has been their mission to bring the best beauty brands at the lowest possible prices for the savvy beauty shopper.

Once we had met with the client, we were able to quote for a Vehicle Loading Lift, cast-in Buffer Posts and a Retractable Dock Shelter.  Also included were civil works to create the pit to accommodate the lift. As soon as we received confirmation to proceed with the order, the process began.

We supplied and installed a Model ARVL Vehicle Loading Lifts, in a size of 2400mm wide, 2800mm long with a nominal depth of 400mm and lift stroke of 1600mm.  This particular project called for the capacity to be a 2500kg limit with an electro/hydraulic lip.  The Armo lifting table is simple and robust in design and construction, from the rolled steel angle base frame through to the solid steel plate arms, right through to the structured platform, the lift is constructed to last.

Heavy Duty Buffers were also supplied and installed, in a height of 450mm, width of 250mm and depth of 100mm.  These heavy duty rubber buffers are mounted onto 305 x 305 universal columns, supplied 1900mm long for casting in 700mm below ground.

Finally we supplied and fitted the Model ARSR Retractable Dock Shelter. This was a width of 3500mm, height of 4500mm with a projection of 900mm.  The width of the front curtain was 650mm and the length of the head curtain was 1200mm.  These heavy duty dock shelters are suitable for accommodating vehicles of varying heights, whilst at the same time providing an effective seal.

The Managing Director of Armo, Darrell Hopwood said: “This set up provides a really great solution when a client needs to safely load/unload product from a trailer in a level access situation”
