Inflatable Dock Shelter, Bridge Plate and Dock Buffers for Abattoir in Brechin

A construction partner enquired for a quote on a Bridge Plate, inflatable dock shelter and dock buffers for a project at an abattoir in Brechin, Scotland.

We were happy to receive an order for one Armo ARIS Inflatable Dock Shelter, one ARBP Bridge Plate and a pair of Armo’s ARDB Loading Dock Buffers.

The Armo ARBP Bridge Plate is ideal for accommodating similar vehicle bed heights, It is a one-piece lip complete with a 5 degree curvature for when loading above dock. The Load Capacity for the plate is 4 tonne single axle and it is constructed with high tensile aluminium for corrosion protection. The bridge plate is strictly in accordance with the British Standard for dock levellers BS EN 1398.

The installation onsite for this particular project took just two days in total.

Darrell Hopwood, Managing Director, said of this project: “The Armo Bridge Plate is ideal for instances when vehicles are of the same size. It weighs 32 kg and measures 1524mm width x 510mm length x 550mm span. The inflatable shelter is also a key element of Loading Bays for the food industry due to strict health and safety procedures. The inflatable shelter helps on ambient, unheated or part heated warehouses where weathering of the opening and protection of the goods are the main criteria.”
