Armo received an order on the 23 rd June for 3no dock levellers to be supplied and installed at Countrywide Freight in Kinmel Bay, North Wales. Countrywide Freight Group is a transport company, which is recognised as the market leader in parcel, pallet and groupage collection and delivery services between the UK and Ireland.

3no Model ARSL Swing Lip Dock Leveller Countrywide Freight Group had their existing Dock Levellers replaced with 3no Model ARSL Swing Lip Levellers, which were supplied at a nominal width of 2000mm and a nominal length of 2500mm with a pit depth of 610mm. The operating parameters of the Swing Lip Dock Levellers that we supplied were 360mm above dock and 300mm below dock. The lip length was 400mm, complete with a 5° curvature for when loading above dock with a 6 tonne loading capacity in accordance with BS EN 1398. The frame for the 3no Dock Levellers was a pit mounted design complete with side infill and rear infill steelwork to make up the existing pit dimensions.

Model ARDB Loading Dock Buffers To complete the installation of the dock levellers, 750mm x 250mm x 100mm Model ARDB loading dock buffers were provided to all 3 of the loading bays. Armo buffers are manufactured from heavy duty solid rubber, normally fixed to a primed and painted solid steel backing plate using M24 fixings, the plate in turn is bolted back to the dock face and additionally welded to the dock leveller frame to provide a long lasting solid fixing.
